It’s always fun to try something new, to venture into something a little different, so when I was approached by a local architect and asked if I’d be interested in photographing some of his latest projects obviously I jumped at the chance. Since my husband and I are currently renovating our family home I’m, what you might call, a fan of interior design and because of this and probably because of the fact I love a nosey around beautiful places, I had so much fun!
The vendors of this bungalow were chuffed with their end product, after they'd shown me the before photos it was clear to see why! The transformation was a total success, from 1960s/70s bungalow to this...
From the grandeur of open vaulted ceilings to home, all in one room.
So, a bit about Richard, he owns his own business- Prospect Design - which he founded in 2007. He’s is knowledgeable and enthusiastic, helping his clients design, modernise and build their homes from the beginning to the end of their project. He gives his clients time to walk and talk him through their ideas and then offer his own, making them aware of the pros and cons along the way, his experience being on his and his clients side.
This wrap around extension offers warmth, space and comfort with it's easy living open plan space, perfect for the young family that live here.
Flooded with natural light from the stunning open roof light and bifold wall, this house is just perfectly set up for both its young family and entertaining.
As I found out Richard clearly has an eye for design and has a way with utilising both large and small spaces fitting what his clients require into what they either already have and what they can afford. He makes homes flow and work around their owners/families as they should do.
