KAMILLA & T's | GLORIOUS, DEEPDALE FARM WEDDING ACCOMPANIED WITH VEGAN FEAST .

Somewhere in the rolling hills of the North Yorkshire Moors, Kamilla and T celebrated their wedding day with close family and friends, some of which they had not seen in nearly two years.

Even though Kamilla and T had to limit their guests guests and some of them had been unable to travel to their wedding, due to the strict travel restrictions, both Kamilla and T agreed the day was even more amazing and perfect than they could've ever imagined! Having a smaller wedding just made it so much more intimate and it couldn't have been more perfect. They spent quality time with their guests, enjoyed a few more speeches than usual and took in the view from their venue whilst enjoying the most amazing food and drink.

They may have only had 30 guests; nevertheless, the place was buzzing!

I think this was one of my favourite moments of the day, Kamilla's words to T were heartfelt and just beautiful.

Listening to the speeches made me realise, just how special this couple are to those near and dear to them.

T's Mum delivered some touching words to them both.

THE VENUE These two fell in love with the venue right away, they found out about it after reading lots of wedding blogs when they were newly engaged. Both Kamilla and T are fond of the outdoors, with a love for cycling, walking and travelling Deepdale Farm suited them down to the ground. The place is a blank canvas with lots of space, in door and outdoor, they leave it up to the couple to embellish the areas and do with them as they may. Deepdale Farm also offers some incredible scenery with endless views right across Ryedale; there's even chickens and horses wandering about the spot.

The main barn looked amazing, even being a big space didn't make the intermit gathering feel lost. It was perfect.

The round house can be used to set up Photo Booth areas or to serve drinks from, restrictions didn't allow this but it's a great idea.

Ambient lighting gives the main barn a cosy feel.

Jim and Charlotte, who run the venue have cleverly designed each of the areas, along with their latest addition of a sun-drenched balcony which catches every last drop of sunshine on a summer's evening. The ceremony room is whimsically lit with abundance's of fairy lights and the main barn is often where all the action takes place after the ceremony. There's a decked area where guests can enjoy the sunshine through the day and benefit from the dappled shade of the established trees, the grillkota also makes the perfect place for guests to warm themselves if the weather isn't quite as fabulous as it was this weekend.

The balcony is not only a sun trap, it gives guests an area to enjoy the views and chat where the music isn't quite so powerful.

As the sun goes down the festival styled lights come in to their own.

Deepdale Farm ended up looking better than T and Kamilla could have ever expected too, since Phoebe of Pollendines did the most amazing job of decorating it. Phoebe is T's cousin, lucky from T and Kamilla, so they both gave her a license to do with the place as she saw fit, knowing they love her work so much. Not only did the place look amazing, it smelt incredible too, Phoebe believes you should be able to smell the flowers as well as see them and cleverly she added an aromatic edge by garnishing the bouquet and the tables with scented foliage such as mint and rosemary. She uses British, seasonal flowers only, cutting down on carbon emissions and keeping the floral displays in keeping with the time of year too.

THE FOOD

Nomad Catering cooked up the most amazing vegan feast, the canapés flowed outside getting demolished every time they arrived, they looked delicious and everyone complimented the food in general. T and Kamilla are committed vegans and they wanted their food to fit with their lifestyle choices, they made the bold statement of not serving their guest meat and dairy making them the same as both of them. T said the best thing about their food was that his Dad didn't complain about the food since it was vegan 😂 and Kamilla was pleased that all of their guests loved the food as much as they did.

I had butternut squash curry with black rice and pickled vegetables and my word it was delicious! Not only did the food taste divine, it looked perfect, Nomad take pride in presenting their food on bespoke, organic looking crockery to give it a earthy and classy feel.

they complimented the theme of the day perfectly.

They even brought out vegan pizza later in the evening.

THE DAY ITSELF

Well the day was joyous and super fun but relaxed! T began his with a bike ride in the Yorkshire Moors with his brother and a few of the other guests, accompanied by breakfast in one of the independent cafes of the idilic Hutton-le-hole, whilst Kamilla enjoyed a girly morning with a few of her friends, getting pampered by Vikki and Lauren.

What a lovely way to start the day.

They enjoyed conversation in the sun, whilst they waited for their breakfasts to arrive.

All the while, Kamilla was being pampered at Deepdale Farm.

The girls were so happy to be spending time with each other again!

Admiration

When everyone was ready and it was time to get married, emotions were running on a high, Kamilla's talented friend Ane, sang as she walked down the aisle to meet T. This was both Kamilla and T's favourite moment of the day, Kamilla said it was made even more special because T was so emotional and I'm pretty sure T was blown away with how stunning Kamilla looked.

And when she arrived, she looked sensational.

Everyone was eager to speak to the couple after the ceremony and then during the meal there were many speeches intermittently mingled in between each course which worked really well. Kamilla's father spoke in Norwegian with a slideshow cleverly planned for the English speaking guests to follow.

After the meal and speeches, the couple mingles some more and everyone enjoyed listening to the love saxonophonist would accompanied the DJ very nicely and added a wonderful atmosphere.

Here's some advice from the couple to other planning a similar day...

T: Let the bride to the majority (T, this made me laugh!!)

Kamilla: Be relaxed about it. 😉 (You definitely were and you made the most off everything.)
